Dear Gilboa Community,
We are heartbroken and scared as we watch the continued devastation caused by the wildfires in Southern California. Our hearts are with everyone impacted, including several Gilboa families who have lost their homes or don’t yet know the status of their homes.
In times like these, our community's strength lies in our ability to come together and support one another. In order to help us connect our affected community members with needed resources:
If you are able to offer assistance—such as shelter, food, or other resources— please fill out this form.
If you or someone you know has been affected by the fires and needs support, please let us know by filling out this form and/or call Rebecca at (562) 234-9957.
Below is a list of other resources available to those affected by the fires, as well as more opportunities to help. We will continue to update this list as we learn of more opportunities. If you know of any available resources that are not on this list, please send them to Alison at alison@campgilboa.org so we can add them.
We strongly urge everyone in affected areas to stay informed through trusted sources such as the LA Fire Department Twitter/X page, the CalFire website, and your local government and fire department pages. Please comply with evacuation warnings and orders to stay safe.
We are profoundly grateful to the emergency responders who are working tirelessly to protect our community. We hold each other in our thoughts and hope that these fires can be fully extinguished soon.
With solidarity and care,
The Camp Gilboa Team
