The Gilboa Stewardship Israel Programs Fund, established by the Camp Gilboa Board, honors the legacy of Evelyn Steward. Evelyn, an esteemed attorney and long-standing member of Ameinu who passed away in 2014, is remembered as "a very honest and forthright individual who was always willing to help," and as "a super spunky and fun lady."
Evelyn discovered Habonim Workshop approximately 50 years ago during her search for an Israel program. Her Workshop experience was profoundly transformative, igniting within her a lifelong passion for Israel and the Labor Zionist movement. Part of her legacy, the Gilboa Stewardship Israel Programs Fund, enables others to experience the same life-changing opportunities she cherished.
