Join Us in Honoring Julie Macht at Gilboa’s Stories Under the Sukkah!

We are thrilled to announce that Julie Macht will be honored at Habonim Dror Camp Gilboa's upcoming annual fundraiser, Stories Under the Sukkah - a Moth-style Storytelling Event, on Saturday, October 19th, 2024!

A Lifetime of Dedication to Gilboa

For the past 45 years, Julie has been a part of the Camp Gilboa community. Her journey started as a camper, and over the decades, she has worn many hats: the mother of four campers (including this summer’s Rosh!), the camp’s first development professional, a board member, President of the Board, and now a dedicated member of the Executive Committee. Julie’s commitment to Gilboa’s mission is unshakable, as she continues to pour her energy into ensuring this extraordinary camp thrives.

“Camp Gilboa has nurtured creativity, spirituality, Jewish identity, and values for me and my family. I want future generations to experience the same.” - Julie Macht

Join us for a night of stories, community, and celebration.

Come celebrate Julie’s incredible contributions to Camp Gilboa and enjoy a night of storytelling, laughter, and connection. There will be Moth-style storytelling on the theme Machaneh Mischief—and maybe even a roast by her children!

Tickets include admission, wine, appetizers, and dessert. The event will take place at The J Los Angeles (formerly known as the JCC) on Saturday, October 19th, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m., and the show starting at 7:00 p.m.

DATE: Saturday, October 19th, 2024

TIME: 6:30 P.M.

LOCATION: The J Los Angeles, 5870 West Olympic Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90036
