Find a Gilboa Homework Buddy!
Parents, we know that the impact of Coronavirus means that many of you are trying to work from home and homeschool your kids. It also means that many of our counselors (tzevet) lost their college jobs and are available to help with at-home school work!
Gilboa can support both families and tzevet by helping you connect!
How it works:
-
Gilboa created a tzevet directory – see below
-
Once you’ve located a good match for your child’s needs, please contact them directly to set up your schedule
-
You'll pay your Homework Buddy directly (we recommend $18/hour)
-
If finances are a barrier, we have scholarships - email us.
Can you afford to pay more? Donate an extra session or five to the Homework Buddies kupa (communal fund) to help offset the costs for families who need assistance
Ada Marcovitz
I am currently a sophomore at Bryn Mawr college and majoring in mathematics. My first summer at Gilboa was 2019, but I went to Mosh (Gilboa's sister camp in Maryland) every summer from 2009 through 2018. My favorite part of Gilboa is the community, but my favorite Gilboa activity during the summer is tochnit erev (evening activity). I like tochnit erev because it brings all of machaneh together, is different every day, always very fun, and usually has a really important educational message.
